The spindle design has evolved into a new expression called the spindle body with the bold grille redesign now in body color brought down to the lower edge of the Lexus emblem. The expressive design of the new RX is accented with jewel-like headlamps and the new rear Lexus badging with the distinct LED blade taillamp. The seamless expression of the fusion between body and grille expresses strength and a low center of gravity, pushing the boundaries of expressing a new identity and uniqueness.

The redesigned RX forges a deeper connection between driver and vehicle with features artfully designed for the most engaging driver experience. The carefully arranged steering wheel features are now highly integrated with the heads-up display to create a space where the driver can concentrate on the road. Navigation, audio, and various functions can be controlled without the need for extra eye movement or complicated switch operations.

The new RX offers a diverse lineup of powertrains focused on meeting customers’ needs around the world. The various powertrains are each thoughtfully tuned to deliver an exhilarating performance. New to the lineup includes the RX 450h+ PHEV with a highly thermal efficient 2.5-liter inline-four engine and a lithium-ion battery with a total power output of 18.1 kWh, combining class-leading EV driving range with ample power.

Delivering on a thrill like never before, the first-ever RX 500h F SPORT Performance is designed to take exhilaration to the next level with an exclusive exterior design to express a lower center of gravity, black stainless steel moldings to enhance the window design graphics, and 21-inch aluminum wheels giving the vehicle an even more refined and more powerful driving image.

The rear suspension introduces a new multi-link system that conforms to the road, enabling a smoother ride. Additionally, the placement of the multi-link’s upper arm, and its shape, prevent the vehicle’s side from protruding into the interior to ultimately ensure more space inside the cabin.

To help maintain damping force at extremely low speeds, the vehicle’s shock absorbers use a swing valve, while an Adaptive Variable Suspension System (AVS) is also adept at adjusting the damping force thanks to a linear Solenoid design that also comes standard on the F Sport model.

Both provide a smooth, linear motion and highly comfortable ride.
