Lexus unveiled its stunning, all-new, hybrid coupe concept to the world, the LF-CC at the 2012 Paris International Motor Show.

Drawing inspiration and design elements from the LFA and the award-winning LF-LC concept coupe, Lexus created an all-new aerodynamic design - a perfect blend of form and function. All powered by an all-new, full hybrid powertrain to deliver the power of a sporting coupe with low CO 2 emissions.

The latest evolution of the unique L-finesse design language features the signature spindle grille and a super bright 3 LED-projector headlamp design.

The split zone driver’s dashboard creates a highly focused driving environment, with the warm, elegant amber leather finish on the seats, door panels and instrument binnacle hood providing an elegant yet sporting image.

The Lexus Hybrid Drive powertrain is an all-new, ultra-smooth 2.5 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a compact, high-output, water-cooled electric motor, together achieving class-leading energy efficiencies. Lexus Concept Coupe's new color unveiled in Australia in October 2012. The Opal Blue exterior is inspired by the lustrous base color found in the naturally occurring semi-precious opal stone of outback Australia.

The LF-LC leverages project LFA in marrying carbon fibre and aluminum alloy materials to achieve a light and driver-responsive body mass.

The Lexus LF-Gh (Lexus Future Luxury Sports Hybrid) Concept debuted at the 2011 New York International Auto Show, revealing a bold new design direction for future Lexus vehicles and setting new standards for what a luxury sports sedan should be.

Searching to integrate often contradictory characteristics such as style and functionality, Lexus designers delivered a harmonious blend of form and function, found in the grille design contributing to efficient aerodynamics and cooling operations, as well as seamless air flows from the front inlets - next to the vertically arranged LED fog lamps - through to the slim outlets at the rear that follow the curve of the tail lamps.

In addition to the bold new spindle grille, the designers created distinctive boomerang LED tail lamps. The deep front bumper adds to the sense of movement while the raised bonnet hints at the power within.

Multi dual spoke 20 inch wheels, subtle chrome trim elements in the bumper, exhaust and diffuser, LED headlamps and L-shaped daytime running lights, stand the LF-Gh apart.

The Lexus LF-Ch hybrid concept made its world debut in 2009 at the Frankfurt motor show, reflecting the growing demand for smaller, more environmentally sensitive vehicles which offer no compromise in levels of refinement and driving pleasure.

The LF-Ch’s fluid body styling is a powerful evolution of the Lexus L-finesse design philosophy, from the visual harmony between the interior and exterior design, through to it’s leading-edge engineering and technology. The Lexus Future-Advance Roadster show model featured side cameras in place of standard mirrors, and a two-tone interior. A convertible version of the awe-inspiring LFA supercar, the Roadster was unveiled at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show and designated with "F" badges indicating its place as a member of the Lexus F performance division.

With the same strong yet lightweight carbon fibre and aluminum body as the LFA coupe, this extraordinary vehicle is also powered by a high-revving V10 engine.

The LF-A concept in 2007 featured a more aerodynamic exterior, a near-production interior, and F marque emblems. Later that year, Lexus GB director Steve Settle indicated plans for a V10 and hybrid version of the LF-A. Test mules continued to be spotted at the Nürburgring, including early models with a large, fixed rear wing. In December 2007, Auto Express reported that the LF-A had set an unofficial 7:24 lap record at the Nürburgring.

With dramatic styling that represents a bold evolution of L-finesse design, the LF-Xh demanded immediate attention when it was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.

Unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in late 2005, from this concept car the fourth generation Lexus LS range was developed.

The LF-Sh was an exterior concept only, with an interior fitted to the 2006 concept car at the North American Motor Show.

LF-Sh features such as LED headlamps, exhaust vents/rear bumper integration and all-wheel drive hybrid were eventually added to the LS model range.

The Lexus LF-A made its first debut among a blur of camera flashes at the 2005 Detroit Motor Show. Even though the schedule for putting this concept car on sale remained in question, the motor journalists visiting the show from around the world could not hide their delight and surprise at the debut of the first Lexus super sports car.

Peppered by rapid-fire questioning from journalists at the show, Chief Engineer Tanahashi unmistakably felt the special meaning of, and the extreme difficulty that comes from debuting a Lexus model in the category of “super sports”.

Lexus unveiled the LF-C at the 2004 New York Auto Show featuring a retractable hardtop design allowing for coupe, convertible, targa, or speedster configurations via a four-position glass roof.

Fitted with a V8 engine and rear-wheel drive. Unique features included a one-touch activation button, crystal LED tail lamps, suede bucket seats, a 3D instrument panel, drive-by-wire, and a translucent crystal center console with blue backlighting. The LF-C also featured retractable rear-view cameras in place of side mirrors on the doors and rear bumper.

The design choices shown in the LF-C hinted at a convertible version of the IS 250/350 and design cues appeared in the debut of the second generation Lexus IS.

The LF-X design fits between the RX crossover and the GX large SUV. The LF-X was produced using the GS 430 platform, and equipped with a 300 horsepower V8 engine. The instrument panel was designed to be customizable for size, position, and color. Rear seat entertainment screens could be deployed from the center console.

The LF-S is a concept luxury sedan which unveiled in 2003 at the Tokyo Motor Show, signaling its intentions to launch Lexus in its home country. Unique features of the LF-S concept included side-mounted cameras instead of mirrors, an air stream style windshield cleansing system, transparent panoramic roof with security illumination, and keyless entry. Design cues from the LF-S, particularly the slingshot cabin, sleek profile, and rear deck lid, appeared in the third generation Lexus GS production sedan.

The LF-S was powered by a high-output hybrid V8 system with all-wheel drive, marking the conceptual debut of a Lexus vehicle with hybrid technology.
